step One: interior programming
The interior design process begins with understanding your goals for the space—functionally, aesthetically, and emotionally. At Moment Architects, we collaborate closely with our clients to develop an “Interior Program” that outlines the spatial relationships, functional requirements, and desired atmospheres for each area. This includes identifying design priorities, style preferences, material and finish considerations, and any brand-specific elements that need to be integrated.
step Two: concept design
With a clear understanding of your goals, our team begins developing initial concepts and mood boards that reflect the intended look and feel of the space. We explore palettes, textures, lighting strategies, and furnishing directions, presenting these in a way that allows you to visualize the overall design direction. This step is all about capturing the essence of your personality through thoughtful spatial storytelling.
Step Three: design development
Once the overall concept is approved, we move into the detailed design phase. This includes selecting finishes, furniture, fixtures, lighting, and custom elements. At Moment Architects, we produce precise drawings, elevations, and 3D visualizations that clearly communicate every aspect of the design. We work with vendors and fabricators to ensure the selections are both aesthetically aligned and within budget.
Step Four: procurement and coordination
Depending on the scope of the project, we can assist with sourcing and procurement of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E). We coordinate with suppliers, monitor lead times, and oversee delivery schedules to ensure everything arrives on time and in the right condition. Our team collaborates with contractors, installers, and other consultants to ensure seamless integration of design elements during construction.
Step Five: installation and final styling
As the construction wraps up, we enter the final and most exciting stage—installation and styling. Moment Architects will oversee the placement of furniture, artwork, accessories, and any custom pieces, ensuring every detail is executed as envisioned. We walk through the space with you to make final adjustments and ensure it feels complete, functional, and inspiring.
